Sarah Schemper, MA, LLPC

Professional Counselor

Sarah works with individuals and couples at Midtown Counseling and Konfara Counseling, as well as with Holland Public students through Midtown’s on-site counseling program. Her passion lies in helping people examine their current interpersonal functioning to discover patterns, identify values, and learn skills and strategies to help them identify and achieve their goals. Through using an attachment-focused and interpersonal lens, she sees that our “issues” and pain are the result of, or are inflicted through, our relationships with others, and that relationships are then also the key to healing. She is passionate about supporting people through their journey of discovering more about themselves and the unique ways God has created and gifted them.

Sarah earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Dordt University, and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marshall University. Sarah has been married to her husband, Greg, for over twenty years, and they have two teenage daughters.
