Rachel Lynn, Intern: Rachel is a clinical mental health counseling student at Cornerstone University, pursuing a concentration in trauma. She is passionate about meeting clients in the midst of challenging life experiences and transitions, walking with them to process those experiences with empathy and compassion. Rachel offers a safe and welcoming environment that allows her and her clients to be fully present, deeply listening so clients feel seen and heard. Rachel believes that there is not one approach that fits all, and she is committed to working collaboratively with clients to create a tailored experience for treatment. Through the integrative lens of person-centered, trauma-informed, and holistic approaches, Rachel desires for her clients to experience hope through healing.

Prior to pursuing a degree in counseling, Rachel earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education and served as a teacher for ten years. Because of her experiences teaching in the public school system, she is passionate about advocating for the mental health of teachers.
