About the Counselors
All counselors practicing with Midtown Counseling Services will be Master’s-level counselors licensed with the State of Michigan. Counselors will embrace all faiths and every effort will be made to establish an ethnically and culturally diverse staff. Staff will embrace a Christian counseling perspective that will be inclusive, not exclusive. In addition to the positions described above, it is hoped that MCS will employ counselors in an adjunct relationship as well as provide internship opportunities to area seminaries and counseling programs. At the time of this writing, two adjunct counselors (one African-American and one Hispanic) have indicated their desire to participate in the adjunct counseling program of MCS.
