WELCOME!
SueGreetings! My name is Sue VanWyngarden and I am the Executive Director of an exciting new home for hope in the central city of Holland. Let me introduce Midtown Counseling Services, a Christ-centered 501(3)(c) non profit organization of professional therapists with a passion to bring life change to the underserved families in the core city of Holland . And Midtown proposes to accomplish this with low or no-cost therapeutic marriage and family counseling, mentoring programs and small support groups provided by a culturally diverse, licensed staff.

OUR MISSION
It is the mission of Midtown Counseling Services to provide emotional health and wholeness for the marginalized and underserved population of the Holland core city through low or no-cost therapeutic individual, marriage and family counseling, mentoring programs and small support groups. Achieving this mission will call us to meet the following goals: (1) provide affordable, accessible professional counseling to the target community; (2) encourage personal growth in our clients both emotionally and spiritually; (3) build a foundation of Christian values while embracing all belief systems; and (4) enhance the service effectiveness of our partners with professional therapy that brings the hope of breaking the cycle of dependence on “basic human need” organizations.
